The Founder: Traci Barnes

I am passionate about the Lord and sharing God’s Love with others. I have a B.S in Education with a minor in Biblical Studies. I taught for 17 years, sharing the love of God with students. In 2010, I obtained a MBA, with a plan to start a business. Up to this point, I had experienced many trials and God was at work through them all. I started out as a “preemie” baby, lived in the hospital for several weeks, suffered severe reactions to immunizations, told I would never walk, survived over a dozen surgeries and physical therapy, endured childhood years of teasing and bullying, attended college in a then-not-handicapped-friendly world, graduated, got married, got pregnant, suffered the loss of two children through pregnancies; lost the ability to have future children, experienced catastrophic medical conditions and faced domestic violence all contributing to a shattered world.

I took a look at my life and realized through my pain I had a story to share. Yes, I have experienced struggles but also many blessings. God is faithful and has never left me.  Many times people feel alone in the struggle but I look back and see the good God had done. I realize I need to share my story so others can see they are not alone and God loves them, through the struggles they face. God continues to show His love as the story grows. In 2015, I began the journey to share with others and Triumphant Times was created. The struggles still come but I face them with a different outlook: I consider how God will use each situation to reach someone.

The Ministry: 

Triumphant Times strives to make a positive difference in the lives of hurting families and individuals by providing an atmosphere of acceptance and interacting in a compassionate manner. We provide encouragement, support and other resources in times of struggle and pain. We are committed to driving change in the community by acting with integrity as the hands and feet of Jesus showing love and kindness to all.

The Vision:

Our Vision is to make a difference in the lives of the hurting on an emotional, mental and spiritual level by providing guidance and support as they seek to understand who they are and empower people to see and achieve their purpose in life.
